Mesopuncture

Mesopuncture

Did you know that needles are not exclusive to fixing your garments? As a matter of fact, these prickles can help fix your health through the procedure called mesopuncture that can provide treatment to many different illnesses and diseases. Yes, it turns out that spikes can be health-friendly although the idea can’t discount the painful prick.

Acupuncture Applied to Injuries

Mesopuncture speaks for itself being literally translated as the process of inflicting wounds on the middle skin layer by means of injecting drugs. Injection is administered into acupuncture points associated with certain vital organs of the body. Stimulating these spots is believed to restore physiological balance thereby bringing you a big sigh of relief.

As an alternative medicine, this sort of treatment commonly coincides with acupuncture. The procedure is commonly employed in acupuncture treatments to prolong therapeutic effect. Upon removal of acupuncture needles, injection of salt saline solution or distilled water is administered into relevant spots using needle-syringe.

Popularized way back in mid-20th century by Dr. Michel Pistor, mesopuncture was introduced in     France as a non-invasive surgical procedure coined as mesotherapy . The treatment became popular in Europe to resolve certain medical conditions including physical injuries. Through the years, it became a popular remedy employed by medical practitioners in America and Asia, too.

Since it is a non-invasive procedure, trust me you won’t be bothered by pain at all. Although injections can only give off a pricking sensation, topical numbing cream shall nevertheless come handy.  The process makes use of needle-syringe used to inject relevant drugs into target acupuncture points. Most likely, an allergy test shall be performed a day before your treatment schedule for safety purposes.

Perhaps you are curious about the drugs used in mesopuncture treatment. More often than not, the syringe many contain allopathic or homeopathic medications. Nutrients, vitamins, and minerals may also be employed along the process. These are called medicinal bullets directly fired into the mesoderm to administer efficient treatment.

Among other uses, mesopuncture has been widely popular to treat cellulites. In particular, Aminophyillin is injected into the skin to facilitate fat breakdown. Some cases also suggest infusing Isoproternol into the solution for better results. To determine injection spots, physicians usually conduct skin mapping by marking relevant areas of the body since cellulites are not visible when you lie down.

Hair loss or alopecia can also be treated by means of mesopuncture. Minoxidil is directly administered into the scalp using a plastic roller heavily armed with tiny needles. The drug extends hair growth phase and stimulates blood circulation into hair follicles. Rest assured the process shall not bring any sort of scalp damage since the needles are only meant to assist penetration of the drug.

Of course you’ll find many other therapeutic uses of mesopuncture. Simple uses may include relief against arthritis, back pain, constipation, headache, migraine, etc. The same may also be administered to treat sports-related injuries. Cosmetic relevance may include weight loss, skin rejuvenation, and anti-aging advantage. Consequently, there is so much more in store for you.

Unfortunately, mesopuncture has not yet been approved by US Food and Drug Administration although the procedure is widely practiced in America, Europe, and Asia due to its non-invasive yet effective therapeutic results.
