Facial gymnastics; Exercises to prevent facial skin sagging

 



No one wants to age fast, that is for sure. People are getting older and older everyday, and they do not want to show it. If it would only be possible, every person in the whole world would search for that fountain of youth and slow down ageing. Yes, it is but normal for a person to get scared every time they here the word “old” especially when it is associated to them. It is also normal for them to search and look for many ways as they can on how to prevent themselves from getting old. Getting old is very evident and can be clearly seen in everyone’s faces, that is why beauty experts and other people greatly affected by their ageing are researching and inventing ways on how to exercise the face and prevent the skin from sagging.

Facial exercise is really important, not just for people who want to slow down ageing but also those who want to keep themselves healthy. Facial exercise, for one, helps tone the facial muscles and keep them in place, helping maintain the tissues from early ageing. This also relaxes the skin and muscles which keeps the face relaxed, and relaxation is one major factor to slow down ageing. It also reduces stiffness and dullness of the facial skin and muscles which keeps the glow on our faces. Of course, glowing skin is one major indicator of a young and healthy individual. Moreover, facial exercise increases skin elasticity and decreases wrinkles. As they say, you just have to smile as many times as you can everyday to keep yourself looking young. This is because your face is used to the stretch your smile brings about, which gives the facial muscles enough activity to maintain its youth and glow.

If you feel that facial exercises can help you maintain your youthful glow, it is now time to start exercising those facial muscles. Here are some short facial exercises that anyone can do anytime, anywhere:

-    Inhale using your mouth and fill it with air. Keep the air inside then slowly let it out for 8 to 10 times. This exercise will keep your cheeks toned.

-    Make a smiling face. Hold this position for a few seconds then slowly release. Repeat this exercise for as long as you want. This helps tone your cheeks and jaw.

-    Using both your thumbs, gently stroke your chin from below going upward. This prevents your skin from sagging and forming double chin.

-    Exercise your forehead by stroking it outwards using your middle and index fingers. This helps prevent the forming of stress lines which makes us look old.

-    Do not forget to also exercise your eyebrows – pull them up and down for 4 to 5 times. Hold it for a few seconds then slowly pull it down.

-    Chew a gum. This makes facial exercise beneficial and fun at the same time.

Every time you do a facial exercise routine, always make sure to open up and cleanse the pores of your skin and keep your hands clean as well. This adds up to the youthful glow your face can get.
